Adjustable wheelbase:  Many high-crop tractors offer adjustable wheelbases to accommodate various row spacings, typically ranging from 72 to 84 inches.

Tall, skinny tires:  These tractors are equipped with tall, narrow tires that require less space between crop rows, allowing for more efficient harvesting and reduced crop damage.

Specialized transmissions:  High-crop tractors often feature transmissions capable of very slow speeds, sometimes as low as 0.14 mph, which is ideal for hand-harvesting operations.

Crop protection:  The elevated design and specialized features help protect delicate crops, their roots, and soil structure during various farming operations.
